Representing Buyers

We represent buyers during the entire process of a real estate transaction. From arranging showings to viewing properties to selection analysis and to final negotiations, our knowledge and experience allows buyers to make an appropriate decision in comfort and confidence.

Although we represent buyers, sellers pay the entire commission fee to be paid to us and to their own agent. Unfortunately, many mistakenly believe that buying directly from a seller or through a seller’s agent will save them money. Please also remember that in the majority of instances a seller's agent represents the interests of the seller, not the buyer. This puts many at a severe disadvantage.

Without a buyer agent’s involvement in a transaction, the selling broker merely retains the entire commission. With a buyer’s agent assistance, a seller’s broker and a buyer’s broker split the commission paid solely by the seller. In either instance, the buyer does not pay any part of the commission.

We not only provide assistance in procuring financing, insurance, property inspection, and legal assistance, but our information about a specific property – its neighborhood, amenities and recent price history – also puts buyers in a stronger negotiating position. This saves buyers money and also helps to prevent any costly errors. In other words, buyer agency may be regarded as assistance at no charge.
